Reflow Plumbing Gas and Air

1. Scope of Services

Reflow Plumbing Gas and Air provides professional plumbing, gas fitting, backflow prevention, and air conditioning installation, servicing, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. All services are performed by licensed professionals in accordance with Australian Standards, state-based regulations, and industry best practices.  

 

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. – Quotes are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Any unforeseen complications may result in additional costs, which will be discussed with the client before proceeding. – Estimates are indicative only and may vary once the work commences.  

 

3. Bookings and Cancellations

Appointments can be scheduled via phone or email. – Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee. – Emergency call-outs are available 24/7 but are subject to higher rates (see Section 5).  

 

4. Pricing and Payment 

Standard rate: $180/hour, charged in 15-minute increments unless otherwise specified. – Payment is due on completion of work, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing or under a contracted payment plan. – Accepted payment methods include EFT, credit/debit cards, or other methods as agreed. – Materials are charged separately unless specified in the quote. – All materials and equipment supplied remain the property of Reflow Plumbing Gas and Air until full payment has been received. – In the event of non-payment, Reflow Plumbing Gas and Air reserves the right to access the site (with reasonable notice) to retrieve any unpaid materials or goods. – This clause does not affect any rights under consumer law but serves as a lien for unpaid work or products.  

 

5. Call-Out and Emergency Rates

No standard call-out fee unless specified during booking. – Emergency Service Rate: – $360 for the first hour – $200 per hour thereafter – Plus the cost of any required materials – Emergency rates apply after hours, weekends, and public holidays.  

 

6. Warranty and Liability

All workmanship is covered by a 6-year warranty from the date of completion, in accordance with industry standards. – Manufacturer warranties apply to all supplied parts and equipment. – Reflow Plumbing Gas and Air is not liable for: – Issues caused by pre-existing conditions or improper maintenance. – Damage due to client misuse, interference, or third-party alterations. – Failures resulting from unauthorised use or installation of products not supplied by us.  

 

7. Access and Safety

Clients must ensure clear, safe access to the property and all relevant service areas. – All known hazards, such as asbestos, structural concerns, or prior damages, must be disclosed before work begins. – Additional charges may apply where access is restricted or additional safety measures are required.  

 

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date information relevant to the work. – Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary approvals, permits, or strata permissions unless otherwise agreed. – Once work commences, clients must not interfere with equipment or systems without prior approval.  

 

9. Variations

Any variation to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing. – Variations may be subject to additional charges and updated timeframes.    

 

10. Termination

Reflow Plumbing Gas and Air reserves the right to cease work or cancel services if: – The client fails to adhere to these terms. – Unsafe or illegal conditions are present. – Payment terms are not fulfilled.  

 

11. Privacy

Client Information is collected solely for the purpose of providing services and maintaining records. Personal details will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or where necessary to complete the job (e.g., ordering parts).    

 

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes must be raised in writing within 7 days of the issue arising. – We aim to resolve all disputes promptly and professionally. If unresolved, the matter may be escalated to the relevant licensing authority or consumer tribunal.  

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the services are provided, including compliance with plumbing, gas, and air conditioning licensing requirements in Australia.  

 

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available upon request or published via official communication channels.
